520 | a In an effort to describe sulphur in steels, particularly in steelmaking, a thermodynamic description of the Fe-Ca-O-S and its subsystems is presented. The ionic two-sublattice liquid model has been used to describe all liquids. For the Fe-O-S part of the system the calculations reproduce available experimental data well. Experimental data is scarce in the Ca-O-S system and in the quaternary and we to trust that the system is well reproduced by extrapolation by previously assessed sub-systems. | |
