  • Capacitive Deionization (CDI) is an electrochemical technique for the removal of charged species from aqueous media. It has been typically used for the desalination of low to medium salinity water, working on potential mediated electrosorption of ions. Herespecific discussion on the utilization of CDI constructed with nanoelectrodes for the removal of arsenic from water is introduced.
