An integrated model of technical system design : Further development of the concept

As a result of the research performed earlier, it was found that the development of technical systems in practice solves four major tasks-adapting an existing solution to work in new conditions, refining an existing solution, combining it with previously developed elements and creating a new solution. Accordingly, the principal focus of the present research is on a more integrated model for the design of technical systems. The model is obtained by combining (overlaying) the methods for solving the four main tasks defined. The current study presents the findings from the subsequent development of the concept-the place of the scientific research in the proposed integrated model is determined and the process of selecting or synthesizing a technical proposal in each of the defined four cases is clarified.
