The need for critical thinking in evaluation of information : Criteria, principles and responsibility

• The need for critical evaluation of information and the definition and history of "criticism of sources" is discussed. Eleven groups of quality criteria for information are proposed. Principles for handling the criteria are proposed. Principles of responsibility are also proposed.
