Utredningsmetodik, tankefel och källkritik i ett våldtäktsmål med DNA

• Syftet är att undersöka utredningsmetodiken och tänkandet i ett fall med påstådd våldtäkt med stöd av DNA-spår. Befintligt dokumentmaterial analyseras och tankefel och brister i utredningsmetodiken klargörs. Den övergripande logiken är cirkulär och därvid används bristande noggrannhet, tankefel och bristande källkritik.

• The purpose is to study investigative methods in a case where a man is accused of rape with support from traces of DNA. A critical examination of documents from police, prosecutors and courts is made. A number of serious deficiencies in the investigative methods are shown. Cognitive biases, including circular logic and confirmation bias, are used by police, prosecutors and courts.
