Rethinking Sustainability : A Critical Reader

• The Reader "Rethinking sustainability" collects and critically reviews the most canonical text published on sustainability and its related fields, while also documenting articles and projects of the most innovative architecture projects to date.The reader - as collection of articles and practices - will be developed over time in a special theory course with lectures and a special manifest seminar within the Laboratory of Sustainability at Umeå University, the UMA school of architecture. Students present, discuss and develop their individual agenda while discussing the material collected in the reader, and add where possible relevant material. The reader is edited by Roemer van Toorn
