- The current knowledge of Alchemilla semidivisa Ericsson, a Norwegian endemic belonging to the series Splendentes, is updated. A. semidivisa was discovered in 1989 in Norddal municipality, Mere og Romsdal, and is only known from a very small area, spanning only 18 km. It is known from at least 13-14 localities, of which it is only numerous at a few sites, notably along Herdalselva. It ranges from sea level to 570 m a.s.l., spanning slightly oceanic to definitely oceanic sections, from the boreonemoral to the middle boreal zone. The largest populations are found near rapids or waterfalls, usually on exposed sites with abundant spray. Only occasional individuals have been found in drier habitats, e.g. road sides and wooded slopes. A. semidivisa is redlisted as vulnerable (VU).
