- This article describes in short the point of departure for an extensive research project on Sloyd. In the latter part of the article some of the outcomes of the research work are presented such as textile knowledge related to liberal or vocational studies: sloyd teacher education: evaluation, feed back and assessment, Sloyd classroom studies, curicuum studies, history of the Sloyd subject and finally theoretical perspectives.
