- Prizewinning cellist Mime Yamahiro Brinkmann envisioned a programme of Italian and Spanish music from 16th-18th centuries for cello, and harpsichord, by composers such as Cabezón, Supriani, Pasquini, Storace, and Boccherini. My essay 'Boccherini's Dream' draws a musical thread through the selection of pieces, giving a taster of the historical settings in which they were composed, and pointers for the listener. The essay is in both English and German.
