Phonetic realization of the accent in Shuri dialect : Shuri hougenni okeru akusentono onseigakuteki jittai

• Shuri dialect is considered to be the standard of the Ryukyu dialect of Japanese. Accent system of this dialect has been hitherto limited to phonological analysis. This paper presents the first acoustic/phonetic analysis of this dialect by clarifying a number of unsolved issues.
