  • The aim is to argue that Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series works as an imaginative exploration and cognitive play that offers social learning to its readers, helping them to interpret the world and make sense of life. Based on Darwinian literary theory, the study demonstrates how the series rely on internal focalization and how this emotion-based viewpoint invites the reader to participate in an enjoyable and informative fictional world.
