The importance of screening for ADHD in children and adolescents with obesity.

• The article by Bahrami etal., published recently in Acta Paediatrica: "Association of children's obesity with the quality of parental-child attachment and psychological variables" (1) highlights an important topic. The authors studied a group of 202 children, aged 9-13 years, with obesity with the aim of investigating the association between the children's obesity and parental attachment and to analyse psychological variables in the child; such as impulsivity and efficacy of eating control.
