  • BackgroundEducation, a marker for cognitive reserve, is thought to be associated with low risks of dementia, but less is known about its association with cognitive decline in preclinical stages of dementia. This study aimed to see whether higher education level could have a protective effect against faster cognitive decline in preclinical stages of dementia and whether this protection is consistent across six different studies around the world.
