- With new media technology everyone online could easily participate in creating news content. Audience interacting is not necessary seen as a positive device by editors and journalists. A Swedish mail questionnaire survey shows that there is only little interest in participating in creating content on news sites from an audience point of view. Those who are actually com-menting and writing blogs seems to consider use as pleasure rather than part taking. Use of interactive facilities tends to strengthen the gap between highly and lowly resourced people.
