- In this article, Lena Lid Falkman discusses the future office. Based on an interview study during the spring of 2020, she raises the question of whether we should see a renewed interest in Activity Based Workplaces? To understand how organizations can develop “the office of the future”, she proposes a model with four office configurations; total integration, place separation, time separation, and total separation. By customizing the configurations to the specific workplace, we will most likely see a renewed interest in workplace design and health.
