Compositions comprising photoinitiator and oxetane compound

• An energy curable composition comprises a photoinitiator and a polymerisable compound of formula (I): where: R<1> represents a C1 - C4 alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group; R<2> represents a group of formula -O-R<3> or a group R<4>; R<3> represents a C1 - C20 alkyl group, a C2 - C20 alkenyl group, an aryl group, an aralkyl group, a polyalkylene oxide group or a poly(lactone group); R<4> represents a C1 - C20 alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group; x is a number greater than 1 and no greater than 4; and (x + y) = 4. The composition may be used in printing ink or varnish.
