Phosphine-catalyzed disulfide metathesis.

• The reaction between disulfides and phosphines generates a reversible disulfide metathesis process. E.g., tricyclohexylphosphine catalyzed the reversible disulfide metathesis of MeSSMe and EtSSEt to give 51% MeSSEt. [on SciFinder(R)]
