  • Extending Touch-less Interaction on Vision Based Wearable Device
  • 2015
  • Ingår i: 2015 IEEE VIRTUAL REALITY CONFERENCE (VR). - : IEEE conference proceedings. - 9781479917273 ; , s. 231-232
  • Konferensbidrag (refereegranskat)abstract
    • A touch-less interaction technology on vision based wearable device is designed and evaluated. Users interact with the application with dynamic hands/feet gestures in front of the camera. Several proof-of-concept prototypes with eleven dynamic gestures are developed based on the touch-less interaction. At last, a comparing user study evaluation is proposed to demonstrate the usability of the touch-less approach, as well as the impact on user's emotion, running on a wearable framework or Google Glass.

  • A high-speed index for the multi-scale overlay landscape map on ubiquitous WebGIS
  • 2013
  • Ingår i: Shenzhen Daxue Xuebao (Ligong Ban)/Journal of Shenzhen University Science and Engineering. - 1000-2618. ; 30:5, s. 480-485
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • A high-speed data structure is researched to solve the problem that existing data structure can not support the multi-scale representation of landscape map data on ubiquitous WebGIS. The necessity of the index is analyzed, the algorithm presented, the possibility of supporting landscape map disscussed. In this index, the main tree is obtained from the deformation of the index structure of region quadtree partitioned on the basis of the rule of pyramid structure; a sub-tree structure supports the overlap of landscape map data. The index reflects the changes in spatial resolution according to the depth of the tree. All the nodes of the tree are containers of spatial object. For evaluation, comparative experiments are implemented using our index structure, the result shows that this index method can represent massive landscape map data effectively in WebGIS. The structure has been used in city landscape map on WebGIS and in campus landscape map on mobile phone.

  • CsPb(IxBr1-x)(3) solar cells
  • 2019
  • Ingår i: Science Bulletin. - : ELSEVIER. - 2095-9273. ; 64:20, s. 1532-1539
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • Owing to its nice performance, low cost, and simple solution-processing, organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cell (PSC) becomes a promising candidate for next-generation high-efficiency solar cells. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) has boosted from 3.8% to 25.2% over the past ten years. Despite the rapid progress in PCE, the device stability is a key issue that impedes the commercialization of PSCs. Recently, all-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites have attracted much attention due to their better stability compared with their organic-inorganic counterpart. In this progress report, we summarize the properties of CsPb(IxBr1-x)(3) and their applications in solar cells. The current challenges and corresponding solutions are discussed. Finally, we share our perspectives on CsPb(IxBr1-x)(3) solar cells and outline possible directions to further improve the device performance. (C) 2019 Science China Press. • Multimodal Hand and Foot Gesture Interaction for Handheld Devices
  • 2014
  • Ingår i: ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications (TOMCCAP). - : Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). - 1551-6857 .- 1551-6865. ; 11:1
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • We present a hand-and-foot-based multimodal interaction approach for handheld devices. Our method combines input modalities (i.e., hand and foot) and provides a coordinated output to both modalities along with audio and video. Human foot gesture is detected and tracked using contour-based template detection (CTD) and Tracking-Learning-Detection (TLD) algorithm. 3D foot pose is estimated from passive homography matrix of the camera. 3D stereoscopic and vibrotactile are used to enhance the immersive feeling. We developed a multimodal football game based on the multimodal approach as a proof-of-concept. We confirm our systems user satisfaction through a user study.

  • Touch-less interactive augmented reality game on vision-based wearable device
  • 2015
  • Ingår i: Personal and Ubiquitous Computing. - : Springer Science and Business Media LLC. - 1617-4909 .- 1617-4917. ; 19:3-4, s. 551-567
  • Tidskriftsartikel (refereegranskat)abstract
    • There is an increasing interest in creating pervasive games based on emerging interaction technologies. In order to develop touch-less, interactive and augmented reality games on vision-based wearable device, a touch-less motion interaction technology is designed and evaluated in this work. Users interact with the augmented reality games with dynamic hands/feet gestures in front of the camera, which triggers the interaction event to interact with the virtual object in the scene. Three primitive augmented reality games with eleven dynamic gestures are developed based on the proposed touch-less interaction technology as proof. At last, a comparing evaluation is proposed to demonstrate the social acceptability and usability of the touch-less approach, running on a hybrid wearable framework or with Google Glass, as well as workload assessment, user's emotions and satisfaction.
