PERCEPTUAL UNIT FORMATION IN SIMPLE MOTION PATTERNS

• The present study investigated the proximal constraints that determine perceptual unit formation under minimal stimulus conditions. Projections of three moving dots, which could form two possible two-dot configurations, were presented to naive observers.
