- This book describes the basic structural properties of the bole house, the treatment and assembly of its timber components and lessons to be learned from remains of these houses uncovered by archaeologists. It also shows, in detail, how the development of this building method from the Middle Ages onwards followed quite different paths in the southern provinces of Sweden.
