EU Icing on a Baltic Cake: Sweden and the Baltic and EU Northern Dimensions

• The authors argue that Swedish policy towards the EU will continue to maintain a strong Baltic Sea flavour. Furthermore, a useful political strategy for the Swedish political elite in order to help popularise the EU back home is to ensure that the EU Northern Dimension includes a strong Baltic Sea profile
