- In this paper a study of the influence of iron bridges in induction motor rotor slots on both the fundamental and harmonic components is presented. A suitable model for the fundamental component is shown. A theory to explain the erratic load dependence of pair harmonics is presented. The test inverter and the measurement equipment is described and the experimental verification of the harmonic theory is described.
