Second-harmonic blue generation using periodic 90° domain structures in KNbO3

• The first demonstration of second harmonic generation using periodic 90° domain structures in KNbO3 is presented. A walk-off compensated blue light at 480 nm was generated in the structure with 18.6 //m periodicity.
