An automatic method to extract the grating coupling coefficient in DFB lasers : evaluation of different types of fabricated lasers

• The grating coupling coefficients for a large number of 1.3 mu;m and 1.55 mu;m MQW DFB lasers with no, one, or two facets as-cleaved have been successfully extracted from spontaneous emission spectra
