Archaelogical and Geophysical Surveying in the Czech Republic and Sweden

• Two attempts to use non-destructive geophysical surveys of prehistoric sites in Sweden is presented. A Stone Age sunken hut dwelling found in sand and and a settlement area from the Bronze Age siuate4d on glacial till. It is concluded that the methods used are useful for identification of underground features in both types of sediment milieus, but since the methods are developed in the Czech Republic and for soil types there, it is concluded that further work is needed to calibrate the used methods to swedish circumstances.
