Styvhetsmodul : jämförande provning

• A total of thirteen laboratories in Sweden took part in a comparative investigation of determining resilient modulus according to the indirect tensile test. Three different types (i.e. makes) of equipment have been used in the investigation: eight Nottingham Asphalt Testers (NAT and NU), two hydraulic machines from MTS Corporation and five Australian (MATTA-UTM 5P) machine. NAT, NU and MATTA are pneumatic machines. A total of ten samples and two dummies were circulated between the laboratories for determining resilient modulus according to EN 12697-26 (with some explanations where the standard is unclear). The samples were produced in the laboratory and consisted of ABT11 160/220 and ABS16 70/100, five samples being taken from each asphalt. Two dummy samples consisted of Plexiglas (Ø100 mm) and Delron (Ø150 mm) respectively were also included in the test.
