Cancellation of SPM in Self-Homodyne Coherent Systems

• The signal and local oscillator acquire identical nonlinear phase shifts during propagation in a selfhomodynecoherent system. We exploit this to achieve cancellation of the phase distortion caused by self-phasemodulation.
