- This paper aims to understand the actions of an Academic Developer collaborating with academics in dentistry education, in which the purpose is to develop supervision practices that promote professional responsibility. Based on a case study, we explore how an experienced Academic Developer with science of education as her discipline, supports colleagues at the Faculty of Dentistry to develop and strengthen professional responsibility in their teaching. With the approach chosen, the study is thus situated in the interface between education and odontology.
