The methods are evaluated in relation to full-scale incidents and time-domain simulations. Underlying assumptions and tuning of the critical levels in the simplified methods with reference to time-domain simulations is discussed. Given proper tuning the methods are concluded to provide a feasible basis for ship specific on-board operational guidance. | |
