  • The Düben Collection in Uppsala contains many unique compositions and a rela-tively large share of Italian music. About a third of the composers represented in the collection are Italian, and their music constitutes about a sixth of the 2200 com-positions. In the article, a survey of the Italian music is presented and the routes of dissemination are traced. A large share of the compositions by Italian composers have been copied from prints into manuscripts. Some of the prints are still in the Düben Collection, others must have been available to Gustav Düben at some point. As much as half of the Italian compositions belong to this category. There is also a relatively large share of pieces that reached Stockholm in manuscripts, but were originally copied from prints on the Continent – in some cases perhaps even in several steps of manuscript dissemination.The numbers of works that reached Sweden through manuscript dissemination only, never having appeared in print, is comparatively small but important, since this group contains several unique Italian works and manuscripts with an interesting dissemination history. About fifteen such manuscripts travelled to Sweden with an ensemble of Italian singers and musicians recruited to the court of Queen Christina in 1652, with Vincenzo Albrici as maestro di cappella. In addition, there are thirty-six manuscripts copied by Gustav Düben and his helpers. This group of manuscripts contains unique works by, for example, Giacomo Carissimi and Francsco Foggia.Two case studies shed light on the complexity of dissemination routes in the case of the Düben Collection. The ten compositions each by Simone Vesi and Gio-vanni Carisio reached Sweden in different ways: they were copied from prints, aquired in manuscript via Lübeck or Hamburg, and via Danzig. Some works have been re-texted and adapted for local purposes.The case of Italian music in the Düben Collection illustrates the complexity of the collection and its routes of dissemination and the necessity to scrutinize and contextualize every single manuscript.
  • Italienische Musik in der Düben SammlungDie sich in Uppsala befindene Düben Sammlung enthält viele als Unikat erhaltene Werke und einen relativ umfagreiches Korpus der italienischen Musik. Etwa ein Drittel der in dieser Sammlung vertretenen Komponisten sind Italiener und ihre Musik stellt ungefähr ein Sechstel aller Musikwerke dar. Dieser Aufsatz bietet einen Überblick über die italienischen Werke in der Düben Sammlung und verfolgt die Wege der Verbreitung dieser Musik. Ein Großteil der italienischen Musik in der Sammlung sind Abschriften von damals vorhandenen Druckquellen. Einige von diesen Druckquellen sind in der Düben Sammlung ebenfalls zu finden. Die, die in der Sammlung nicht enthalten sind (etwa die Hälfte der italienischen Musikwerke), muss Gustav Düben zur Verfügung gehabt haben. Es gibt auch viele Werke, die auf dem Kontinent aus Druckquellen kopiert wurden – manchmal in mehreren Stufen der Weitergaben – und als Manuskripte nach Stockholm kamen.Die Anzahl der Werke, die als Handschriften nach Stockholm kamen und niemals im Druck erschienen, ist relativ klein. Diese Werke sind aber wichtig, da es darunter auch etliche einzigartige italienische Musikstücke und Manuskripte gibt, die eine in-teressante Verbreitungsgeschichte haben. Etwa fünfzehn dieser Manuskripte wurden in 1652 von  einem Musikensemble der italienischen Sänger und Musiker nach Stock-holm mitgebracht. Diese Musiker, mit Vincenzo Albrici als maestro di cappella, waren am Hof der Königin Christina angestellet. Außerdem enthält die Sammlung 36 Manuskripte, die Gustav Düben und seine Helfer kopiert haben, unter anderen als Unikate erhaltene Werke von Giacomo Carissimi und Francesco Foggia.Zwei Fallbeispiele aus der Düben Sammlung illustrieren die Komplexität der Verbreitungswege. Die Musikwerke von Simone Vesi und die von Giovanni Carisio sind auf verschiedene Wegen nach Schweden gekommen: entweder als Abschriften von Druckquellen oder als Manuskripte via Lübeck, Hamburg, oder Danzig. Einige Werke haben neue Texte oder aber sind für den lokale Gebrauch bearbeitet worden. Italienische Musik der Düben Sammlung verdeutlicht die Komplexität dieser Sammlung und ihrer Verbreitungswege, wie auch die Notwendigkeit, jedes Manu-skript genau zu überprüfen und zu kontextualisieren.
  • Talianska hudba v Dübenovej zbierkeDübenova zbierka hudobnín v Uppsale obsahuje vela unikátnych kompozícií a re-latívne veľký podiel talianskej hudby. Približne jednu tretinu skladateľov, zastúpe-ných v zbierke, reprezentujú Taliani, ich hudba zahŕňa asi jednu šestinu z 2200 skladieb. Táto štúdia podáva prehľad talianskej hudby zastúpenej v zbierke a sleduje cesty jej šírenia. Veľká časť skladieb talianskych skladateľov bola odpísaná z tlačí. Niektoré tlače sa stále nachádzajú v Dübenovej zbierke a iné museli byť k dispozícii Gustavovi Dübenovi v minulosti. Do tejto kategórie patria skladby talianskych skladateľov asi z polovice. V zbierke sa nachádza aj relatívne veľká časť skladieb, ktoré sa dostali do Štokholmu v rukopisoch, ale pôvodne boli odpísané na konti-nente z tlačí, v niektorých prípadoch pravdepodobne dokonca po niekoľkých následných prepisoch z rukopisu do rukopisu. Počty skladieb, ktoré sa dostali do Švédska iba rukopisným šírením, nikdy sa neobjaviac v tlačiach, sú porovnateľne malé, ale ide o významné pramene, pretože táto skupina obsahuje viacero unikátnych talianskych diel a rukopisov so zaují-mavou históriou šírenia. Okolo pätnásť takýchto rukopisov cestovalo do Švédska so súborom talianskych spevákov, najatých pre kapelu na dvore kráľovny Kristíny roku 1652, medzi ktorými bol aj maestro di cappella Vincenzo Albrici. V zbierke je aj 36 rukopisov Gustava Dübena a jeho pomocníkov. Táto skupina rukopisov obsahuje unikátne skladby, napríklad od Giacoma Carissimiho a Francesca Foggiu.Dve prípadové štúdie poukazujú na spletitosť ciest šírenia rukopisov Dübeno-vej kolekcie. Po desať kompozícií od Simone Vesiho a Giovanniho Carisia sa dos-talo do Švédska rozdielnymi cestami: boli odpísané z tlačí a získané ako rukopisy, ktoré sa preniesli do Štokholmu cez Lübeck alebo Hamburg a cez Gdańsk. Niektoré skladby boli opatrené novým textom a prispôsobené lokálnym potrebám. Prípad talianskej hudby v Dübenovej kolekcii ilustruje zložitosť ciest, akými sa skladby šírili a poukazuje na nevyhnutnosť skúmať v súvislostiach každý jeden rukopis.
